New essay every other Sunday

Notes from a life I'm paying attention to.

A Blog About Me is a small, slow journal of essays, notebook entries, and the things I notice when I stop scrolling. Written by me, for anyone who still believes the internet can be quiet.

From the desk

"The best writing I've ever done happened in the margins of a Tuesday."

β€” a note to self, January 2026

β€” The rhythm

Slow writing, on a regular schedule.

New essays every other Sunday morning. Notebook entries whenever something small catches my eye. No tracking, no metrics, no growth hacks β€” just the work, on a loop.

BASED IN

A small apartment

with a good window

β€” Hi, I'm the author

I write to find out what I think.

I started this blog three years ago, in a small notebook, on a kitchen table that was too small for it. The first entry was a complaint about a coffee shop. The second was an apology to the coffee shop. The rest is somewhere in between.

I write essays on Sundays. I write notebook entries when something catches me off-guard. I write about work, reading, walking, and the strange interior weather of being alive in 2026.

β€” The quiet inbox

New essays, in your inbox.

One short note every other Sunday. A new essay, a small recommendation, and the occasional photograph. No tracking, no funnels, no growth nonsense β€” just the work, delivered.
